Following are some Quick Tips about your Inter-Tel Communications Platform.

Q.    How do I import contacts from Outlook into my Inter-Tel Unified Communicator?
A.   1) Within the web based Unified Communicator client, click the 'Address Book' tab on the left.
       2) Click on 'Synchronize'
       3) Select check box next to 'Microsoft Outlook'
       4) Click on Start Synchronization

Q.    How do I establish a conference call?
A.    1)    Place your first intercom or outside call and after answered, press CONF.
        2)    Place your next intercom or outside call and after answered, press CONF.
        3)    Repeat both steps until you have the maximum four parties, including yourself.
        4)    Press CONF one more time to join all parties.

Q.    How do I drop a participant from an active conference call?
A.     1)     Press CONF and then press HOLD to place all participants on an individual hold.
         2)     You can then speak to one party at a time, or drop a party not required for the call. This is extremely
helpful when you are connected to voice mail rather than the party you called.

Q.    How do I toggle between displaying an outside caller’s name and number, while on an active call?
(Using Axxess systems Version 4.4 and higher, equipped with Caller ID)
A.     Press     ∞     key and dial 379.
NOTE: the display will show CANNOT ACCESS FEATURE, if there is no outside party name available.

Q.    For System Administrators:  What does it mean when my telephone display reports system alarm:
         ALARM 011
?
A.    When you see ALARM 011, followed by an extension, it means a 911 emergency call was placed from
        that extension.

Q.    How can I pick up an incoming call ringing that is at another phone?
A.    If you do not already have that extension programmed to ring at your extension as well, Press 4 + the
extension of the phone you want to "pull" the call from.
